2026 - NS Herding instinct Entry

Herding Instinct Test Entry - A Google Form will be emailed to finalize entry upon receipt of funds; Entries close 9/2/26 or once trials are filled. NO DAY OF TEST ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED

Testing will take place for both trials Wednesday morning.  Agility runs will be avoided as best as possible.

Maximum Runs per test = 10 

• Dogs must be 6 months of age or older;
• Tests are open to Border Collies only, PAL Numbers accepted;
• Dogs should wear a flat, buckle collar for testing;
• Dogs receiving a Pass on a test will earn one leg towards their Herding Instinct Certificate; two legs are required under different judges to receive this Certificate.
• This Certificate is not a title.

BCSA will issue a "Leg" Certificate for each Test as well as a Herding Instinct Certificate for those dogs who qualify in two separate runs, by two separate Judges (runs successfully done at prior events will be counted towards the required two successful runs). 

AKC also distributes a Certificate to acknowledge two successful passes.
